LEGEND VALVE 465-225 SMARTCLICK 3/4" X 3/4" STRAIGHT COUPLING PUSH-FITTING

SmartClick™ Push Fittings make installation and connection of tubing quick and easy. When installing there is no need to measure, crimp, cinch, or use expansion tools. The only item needed to install these fittings are the fittings themselves. Once the tubing is cut, just insert it until an audible ‘click’ is heard. This sound lets the user know that a proper connection and seal has been formed. Smart Click fittings are permanent fittings once attached to a tube. The steel clamp closes around the outside of the tube, sealing it onto the insert barb. There are two EPDM o-rings that help complete the connection and proper seal. This 3/4" Straight Coupling Push Fitting has see through glass that allows the user to see that the wedge has been displaced allowing the clamp to activate. The ends of each connection can be rotated, which provides more visual aid in verifying that the connection has been made. The Smart Click Push Fitting is the only PEX and PE-RT fittings that allow the user to see that the connection has been made. The clamp keeps a constant force, even when pressure and/or temperature changes and keeps the seal permanent. It meets or exceeds all standards and requirements for potable water systems. It is designed to be used in domestic and commercial applications for potable water systems and hydronic heating systems with PEX (ASTM 876/877) or PE-RT (ASTM F 2769). SmartClick fittings have a 30 year warranty from the manufacturer which is Legend.

DO NOT USE copper, CPVC polybutylene (PB), composite PEX-A-PEX tubing or any type of iron pipe size (IPS) tubing.
