This electromagnetic door release armature is from Rixson. It is installed on solid or hollow doors, functioning with a holder to hold open doors electromagnetically. It can be mounted in two ways: Surface Applied Concealed Mounted, which is recommended for solid wooden doors only, or Thru-Bolt Mounted, which is recommended for hollow metal, hollow core, or composite type wood doors. Can be used with models 980M, 981M, 990M, 991M, 996M, and 997M magnetic assembly door holders. Has a sprayed aluminum finish. Rixson part number 997510M-689.
