ALUM DOOR CLOSER W/ COVER & UNIVERSAL MOUNTING PLATE

This universal door closer with cover is Design Hardware model number #316RAL. It has an aluminum painted finish. Includes the mounting plate which can be used to replace the most popular door closers without having to drill new holes in your door. The closer body is a heavy duty cast aluminum. It has an adjustable spring power that can range from size 1 to 4. This door closer has an independent latch and sweep speed controls. It also has a back check intensity control standard. The staked valves help to prevent backing valves out too far. Includes a molded plastic cover which is used to conceal the mounting plate. When the cover is installed over the mounting plate, the closer has a slim 2-¼" projection.
