This 1.5 GPM showerhead by Niagara is in the Earth® Showerhead collection, which contains low flow, water saving and high efficiency showerheads. This unit saves money and water by using up to 75% less water than traditional low flow showerheads. This unit has an additional feature that enables additional water savings with a Soak & Soap® On/Off Valve that can be used while soaping, a time during showering when water is not needed. The unit functions with pressure compensating technology, which unlike aerated streams, does not result in increased temperature loss. The unit maintains a constant flow of water pressure regardless of water pressure through the flexible rubber core of the compensator that has scalloped cut outs. This allows the unit to allow more water flow at lower water pressure, and less at higher pressure, thus, maintaining a consistent level of pressure throughout use.
