Job Title: Counter Associate / Warehouse Assistant
Reports To: Director of Operations
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual to support both our parts counter and warehouse operations. In this hybrid role, you will assist walk-in customers, handle phone inquiries, and execute warehouse tasks such as pulling orders, building parts kits, stocking shelves, and processing shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide expert product advice and repair solutions to customers at the counter, and via phone and email.
- Order Processing: Enter customer orders into our system, manage invoices, and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Product Identification: Identify the correct items for customers by analyzing samples, photos, or vendor resources. Research product specifications to ensure accurate identification and meet the customer’s needs.
- Warehouse Support: Pull orders for customers, build parts kits, restock inventory, and prepare items for shipment.
- Communication: Contact customers when their orders are ready for pickup or shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and putting away stock, ensuring warehouse organization and accuracy. Must be able to comfortably lift up to 75 pounds.
- Payment Processing: Accurately handle payments, and balance the register at the end of the day.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in both an office and warehouse setting. A typical workday involves interacting with customers, operating office equipment (computers, phones), and utilizing warehouse tools (pallet jacks, ladders, etc.) Associates are expected to be friendly, respectful, and professional when interacting with customers, as well as fellow employees.
Position Type and Hours:
- Full-Time: Monday – Friday, either from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Location: Oakmont, PA 15139 (If you are relocating for this job, relocation is required before starting.)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
